Rainy Day

Well I feel guilty.
It's been pouring down rain here since 10 this morning and I can't help but think of my family and friends in Texas actually needing it. I wish badly I could send it to y'all.

With it raining, my mom and I aren't able to go out and run a few errands before my brother, John, comes. John flies in at midnight tonight, so we've been cleaning our apartment...well mainly my mom.
I did straighten up my room and bathroom, so I'm not entirely lazy.

I take that back, there is a book I am suppose to read for school, but I have no desire to read it. Although I enjoy reading some books, I don't like to read books I HAVE to read, especially for school. I have to read 1984 by George Orwell. My mom said it was a thin book I can read in a few days if not one; She was mistaken. It's about a inch thick book, slightly over 300 pages.
I am, naturally, a slow reader and even slower when I'm reluctant. I should probably be reading it now than typing this blog, but you don't see me stopping mid-sen....tance to read a book.

Ah, anyways, we're planning on driving down to Sarasota sometime this week. John wants to go, so I guess we have to. I'm pretty excited, I've only stuck my feet in the Pacific ocean in San Diego in December, so it will be fun to be on a beach and see what the big hype is.

Well I think I'm done. I'm happy to see John. It'll be nice to see a familiar face; although I'm sure he'll be annoying while he's here, but he wouldn't be a brother if he wasn't.  God Bless!
